Crafts Bazaar — 2nd Annual Saturday, October 20, 2007

Homestead Farm & Preserve, two non-profit heritage organizations and the
Jackson County Recreation & Parks Department are intent upon presenting to
the public the many talents of our local & regional artists and crafters. We have established this arts & crafts bazaar to
forever honor and preserve our local talents and to assist in providing a sales
outlet directed to and for showcasing our unique mountain heritage. All vendors will be dressed in
traditional clothing to demonstrate the look of the settlers of the mountains.
All work presented will be authentically the work of the hands.
On Saturday the festivities start at 9am at the
Jackson County Recreation Center, with arts and crafts booths inside the gym and
food tent booths outside the facility. Foods will be presented by local churches
and/or civic groups. Please come out, enjoy the day and
purchase special handmade gifts for the holidays.
